Sharon Museum & Gardens has been an important part of the community for 100 years. Our programs and events help us share not only the story of the Sharon Temple and Children of Peace, but the history of the community of East Gwillimbury.

With your support, we have been able to complete projects to care and maintain 10 heritage buildings, over 8000 artifacts, and create innovative and engaging programs for all ages. Find out about our Giving Programs below.

Monthly Giving

A donation of as little as $10 a month can help with keeping our Education Kits stocked and ready to be used by local teachers!

Negotiable Instruments

If you own shares that have increased in value, 50% of the capital gains are taxable. However, if you donate these shares to a charity, the gain is 100% tax- exempt.

Become a Member

Benefits of membership include free admission to the museum and 10% off in the Gatehouse.

Adopt an Artifact

By making a donation to “adopt” an artifact for one year, you will help us purchase archival and museum supplies in order to better care for the artifacts in our collection.

Leaving a Legacy

Remember the Sharon Temple Museum Society in your Will and help ensure the museum remains open for future generations.
